Following a string of club tracks, as well as the seminal release of their 2017 Let it Roll opening ceremony, Calyx & Teebee return with vocal-lead single ‘Intravenous’. Since their ‘All or Nothing’ LP on spearheading drum & bass imprint Ram Records, they’ve maintained their high-quality output and relentless consistency with their second album on the label ‘1×1’.

However ‘Intravenous’ steers away from the more biting half of their back catalogue, seen throughout their ‘Let it Roll’ EP. Once again they utilise outfit member Larry Cons’ sultry vocals; with a subterranean bassline which hits hard and fast as the record breaks, ‘Intravenous’ nods to the duo’s renowned track ‘Elevate this Sound’ whilst adding a more contemporary edge. Rumbling LFOs and an ever-clinical production standard provides the signature sound which Calyx & Teebee have crafted over decades, whilst being championed by both fans and tastemakers alike.

With an upcoming US tour on the horizon, as well as sets at genre-defining festivals such as Las Vegas’ EDC, ‘Intravenous’ is sure to do damage from club sound systems to stages throughout the drum & bass global circuit.
