Good things come to those who wait… It’s been a year, but DRIFT is back and ready to roll.
We’re bringing a true legend of the game to CELL 200, along with three of dnb’s most exciting producers.
J Majik boasts a CV few other producers can match. Early releases on Metalheadz, from 1992’s 6 Million Ways To Die’ to ‘Your Sound’ and ‘Arabian Nights’, are certified classics of the genre. As label boss of Infared Records and part owner with Dj Harmony of Deep Jungle Records he’s played a key role in the development of dnb/jungle and we couldn’t be more excited to have him down.
Londoner Trex has steadily established himself as one of DnB’s finest emerging producers. A string of releases on Chronic, Ingredients and and his own Trust Audio, to name a few, culminated in his debut ‘High Time LP’ on Randall’s Mac 2 imprint earlier this year. With a highly rated set at Sun & Bass this summer and an EP having just dropped on Dispatch, his stock looks set to continue to rise in 2019.
Phase 2’s delicious brand of liquid funk has seen him release on some of the scene’s best-respected labels including Liquid V, Fokuz, Intrigue, Soul Deep, Celsius Recordings and Influenza Media. A true producers’ producer, each immaculate track promises quality, as anyone who’s heard last month’s ‘Stranger Things’ EP on Marky’s Innerground stable can confirm.
2018’s been a breakthrough year for Melysma with EP’s out on Program and INV confirming his status as one of dnb’s most exciting up and coming producers.
